The healthy changes!

Hey you guys. If somebody ever tells you highschool is easy… They are lying. So I was planning on doing another haul but I have to save it for another time. So I thought to do a lifestylish post . So I’ve been making small changes in my life to see if it makes a difference and it really does. Just small things makes a huge difference.

I believe that to be motivated is not always the easiest thing, but it definitely pays off. I’ve been so motivated after I realized that being able to run 5 km, and not dying, feels amazing. And I overall like the idea of a healthy lifestyle so I would like to share my tips and what I’ve been doing to start my healthy quest. And sure you can see it as a negative thing, and ugh it’s soooo horrible. Or! You can find something you love and excel in it.
So let’s get started

I’ve been doing squats before I eat, shower and when I come home from school. Only 20 at a time. But if I do it 3-5 times a day it will build some muscle and make my legs look more lean. I love squats and they are so easy to do. (Just make sure you are doing it right!). If you really don’t like squats do a few lunges up and down the passages or from the kitchen to your room. Fun little things that benefit your body will make a difference! I also maybe 3 times a week do a Blogilates video exercise. Not only is it fun, but Cassey is the best Motivator of life and

I highly recommend:

Muffintop Massacre

– 6 min to sexy booty

6min to sexy thighs

6min to sexy abs

– 6min to a sexy little waist

– 5 min to long lean legs

There is so many more but these are so simple to follow and super effective( meaning you are gonna feel it! But it feels goooddddd!)

So let’s talk about vitamin infused water. Now I know, not everybody believes that it does anything, but I beg to differ. My skin glows and feels amazing. My body feels really good and my stress level are less. I mean call it magic but it’s amazing. If you don’t believe in the mumbo jumbo I totally understand, but here is a theory: if you make something boring taste better, you would be more keen to drink it right?

My favorite infused water picks:

– cucumber, lemon slices and water. (You can put some mint in. It’s super amazing!) this is my day to day basis drink of choice and what I use to detox my skin. I highly recommend you try this if you have skin issues.

– Berries (all kinds! You can even poke them to make the flavors taste even better!) and some mint

– Raspberry lime!

– Orange slices, lemon slices and grape fruit slices!

– Pineapple mint! Oh my goodness yum!

So you guys. After going sugar free (with an occasional treat!) I discovered that starch and sugar isn’t all that . And it caused my cystic acne. I don’t recommend the Banting because you shed weight like crazy (not in a Healthy way!). But I do recommend low carb high fat. It’s a little more forgiving and so much fun! If you do some research you might find that it’s actually totally do able. The problem I have with Banting is, because a lot of foods actually contains a tiny bit of starch you are not aloud to eat it. But low carb high fat let’s you have it but not in an excessive way. I know I am the biggest sweet tooth on this planet but I do treat myself! But I found that I’m either gonna feel horrible and eat sugar and starch … Or I’m just gonna eat like I normally do and be totally fine. The hardest thing to give up is bread! It was hard at the start but now I hardly miss it! If you are not good with going all cold turkey!

Here is some alternatives that I still eat if I’m craving for a bit of starch:

– brown rice (my favorite!)

– Low GI bread (yum)

– I still eat rye bread sometimes because I love it!

– If you are craving some chocolate, you do learn to appreciate dark chocolate( and that’s coming from someone who refused to eat anything but white chocolate!)

– Whole wheat pasta ( I love me some pasta, but I’ve been loving zucchini pasta, but sometimes I want the pasta!)

– Xylitol and stevia instead of sugar. (I would recommend stevia over Xylitol only because it’s plant based, but it does have an… Distinctive taste)

Another thing that has absolutely changed my life is having fun with salads. Now the problem with salads is that they sound boring and bleh. But! They don’t have to be. I add chickpeas to my salad. I use leftover chicken in my salad, nuts are great in salads. Have fun with color and texture and fruit. Go crazy!

If you want to loose weight, set goals! Or if there is a certain distance you want to jog, treat yourself. Write them down! Visualize them! I know that if I want to jog 10 km I need to take part in a fun run to get me motivated. Or I can say that I I do 10 I can buy myself the lipstick I want or, just something that will bring joy to my life! Or I can go to Froyo or something that I love. Being said, nobody needs to look like they are a Victoria Secrets model! Set your own goals, not other people’s. Social media gives us a image in our brain of what we are supposed to look like, but that’s not the case. Be your own kind of beautiful!

And my final tip for today is… Don’t be obsessed! I was obsessed and it’s not healthy. You find even the smallest things to scare you, but I choose being health over looking good. Don’t keep standing on the scale. It will drive you crazy!
I’m super sorry that these photos aren’t my own, and I don’t take credit for any of them, I just wanted to upload this post ASAP !

I would love to make this a series on my blog because I love reading these kind of posts, so hopefully it works out!

The most beautiful body in the world, is a healthy one.

I hope you guys enjoyed and I hope you found this helpful!

August Favorites!

Hey you guys…So it’s the end of August. I’m being very emotional , because I am a very emotional person. I cry about everything. Babies, puppies, movies (yes I was the only one crying in Finding Dory ), but hey it’s ok to cry. And so I’m very emotional because my high school life is almost over. I’m not ready for the world (yet). I’m still kinda in denial and I’m refusing to learn how to drive, and yes I’m a very stubborn Taurus. (Because that would confirm that I indeed am almost an adult.) in my world I’m actually 4 years old, I still love doing kids stuff. So I’m very emotional that August is over. But with that being said I have a ton of favorites that you guys need to know of. (Sorry for this long intro, but I’m sick again and this time it’s my tonsils. Mine were actually taken out when I was 1 year old and it grew back so it hurts so bad and venting makes me feel better.) I’ve added a few categories onto my favorites, because love a ton of stuff that I want to tell you guys.

LET’S GET STARTED:

So makeup wise I did a huge (not so huge) Cargo Haul. I love Cargo and I’ve been loving the Eyeshadows and the Blush in Catalina. The blush is absolutely amazing and Super pigmented. It gives a healthy flush to the skin and I love it. (I’m not a blush person but this feels like butter and I really enjoy it!). The Eyeshadows are absolutely amazing as well. I had a hard time choosing my favorite one and it was between Green Bay and OZ. Green Bay is a beautiful iridescent green martini shade. It’s so pretty, but I had to go with OZ because I use it so much. It’s a true yellowy gold shade which is so pretty and packs a punch! Babylon is beautiful as well but I’m gonna be honest with you guys.. I don’t wear blue eyeshadow a lot. But it’s still a beautiful cobalt blue!

You guys… This might sound horribly snobby, but I never used the sponge tip applicators, I don’t know why… Maybe it’s because you always see the YouTubers use 500 brushes , that’s why I never used it. But my favorite way, to pack my lid with the Cargo Eyeshadows is with a sponge tip applicator. It’s amazing! I’m a sponge tip hoarder now, and I’m loving it.

So next lovely product I’ve been using is the Essence Shading powder. I’ve done a post on this in my Essence: Hits and misses (part 2). And I said I didn’t like it but I’ll get back to you, but guys…. This stuff is amazing. I was actually using it wrong. Instead of going crazy up and down on my cheeks, light sweeping motions is the way to go. And the highlight is bomb as well!

I’m in shade 02 medium.

I have been having so much fun with this palette from Beauty Treats. To be honest I was overwhelmed by all the shades, I like having a clear indication of what to do, but it kinda forced me out of my comfort zone and it was super fun to play with. I did a review type of post about it and the quality is actually pretty good! I will be doing a makeup look with this , I’m just perfecting it as much. Its the 24 matte palette. I think that the look I’ve been trying out needs a winged Linder to pull it all together, but I have sensitive eyes and everything I’ve tried hurts so I’m on the hunt for a good gel liner!I like using affordable products, before indulging in expensive high end products only because there are so many great products to choose from and I want to try them all. (And I’m pretty clumsy so if something happens to it It won’t be as bad!) I’m still dabbling with higher end products and trying them out.

So i never liked people knowing that I wear glasses. I don’t know why, I just didn’t wear them outside. I would always hide them. But I’ve found a way to embrace my glasses and just appreciate them. My mom always said that she didn’t have options when it came to glasses and I should be thankful for the thousands of options we have these days, and I really took that to heart. I wear them a lot more these days and I don’t have the migraines I usually did, by putting less strain on my eyes. I just put a little bit of mascara on and a clear lipgloss and I’m pretty much good. My glasses are from MaxMara and they are a purpley Colour and they are super simple and not to big. Ignore my face, Im currently sick.

Speaking (or writing) of glasses. Sunglasses have always been one of my favorite accessories. I don’t know what it is, I just think it’s super fun and I always had at least 5 cheap pair but the fun thing was I could change it up. But as I get older, I need something that is UV protected but still super cute and versatile. And these are my favorite. I love the cat eye effect that these give and how it accentuates my cheek bones. I love how classy and sassy these pair are, but they still have a super fun twist to them. I love the (I honestly get confused between turquoise and all the other blues.) but I’m gonna say minty insides. ( correct me if I’m wrong). These are from the Brand Berlin and they are UV protected and I love them.

I have found the perfect hand cream. Oh so Heavenly Classic Care Wrapped in Romance Skin loving silk hand cream. (Why is this name sooooooo long). Anyway, It smells amazing and it doesn’t leave my hands sticky. And best of all the scent lasts and it’s super inexpensive!. It literally smells like Fairy ice cream. (I don’t know if that’s a thing, but if you took a fairy and made ice cream out of its glittery magic, that’s what this smells like.) it contains silk extract that leaves your hands silky smooth and I love it!

So I’m not the accessories kinda gal (I always loose them, no joke). But I found something that I love so much. I wear this Lovisa Moonstone pendant Necklace with a rose gold chain almost everyday. You can dress it up, you can dress it down. It’s just such a beautiful piece to have and it’s super elegant. I love the simplicity of it. It supposedly has healing powers and I don’t know if I believe that but it’s a nice thing to have when I’m feeling anxious.

So I want to talk about a Company kind of thing. It’s called Influenster and what they do is you review products and you get points on the amount of things and all that. Is actually really cool and you can get Vox Boxes where you get products. I personally have not received one but I still like the idea of this. It’s genius and you can get reviews on any product. I’ve literally reviewed cat food. It has all types of products and if you are active on it you can get Vox boxes which is pretty cool. It’s my first month on it and I really like it. (#notspons!)

So you guys need to check out this app. It’s called Wattpad and if you like reading then this is the best app ever. It’s so fun to read when I’m bored, I’m literally addicted and it’s not even funny. You can write your own stories (which I’m considering to do) and it’s amateurs that write. and honestly I’ve read the best stories on there. There is categories for everyone fantasy to romance to comedy to non fictional to detective. I’m warning you it’s super addicting!

So my favorite drink of the month, because I love beverages and because it was winter I have a hot beverage to share with you guys. I’ve never been on the coffee train. I don’t know, I just never liked it before. It just wasn’t something that I went out of my way to drink coffee. I’m more the hot chocolate or tea kind of person. But recently I have combined equal parts coffee to hot chocolate and it tastes so good. With a lot of milk! It’s my favorite this month and I highly recommend you guys try it!

This is my favorite part of my favorites. And it’s the favorite YouTuber of the month. I try to find a YouTuber that is really fun and interesting to watch and it is my mission every month to do so. And this month I’ve been obsessed with Amy Macedo. There is just something about her that I love, I don’t know if it’s her dimples or her honestly but you guys need to check her out. She does the best variety of videos and I binged watched her for 10 hours straight. No jokes.

A movie I’ve been loving is the new Ghostbusters. I have not watched the original one and I didn’t have high hopes for the new one, but I’ve never laughed and screamed as much in one movie. It has a lot of jump scares that is really fun. And I love the actors in it as well as the characters. The acting is great as well and I can’t compare it to the original, but I really like it. It’s so funny!

So thank you guys so much for reading!

I hoped it was helpful and I hope you guys enjoyed!

What was your favorite this month?

Empties + mini review!

Hey you guys!
I thought I would do an empties post and review the products that I used up. Because I know everyone wants to see my trash! (sarcasm). But I do love these kind of posts and I thought it would be fun to do my own and if I would repurchase it. I know this is a kind of ‘boring’ post but it’s not yet time for my August favorites ( which are super random! And I’m super excited about it!), but I have been wanting to do one of these. I’m so tired. School has been pretty hectic. I’m actually planning on doing a fitness month so let me know if you guys want a post regarding smoothie recipes or exercising or anything like that!

SO LET’S GET STARTED:

So my first 2 thing that I used up is this L’oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Shampoo for dull and rough hair. (Why is this name so long, I mean it’s a shampoo.) Uhm no, I didn’t like this. It smelled really bad. And it didn’t make my softer at all, or make my hair didn’t feel super clean.. It was just kind of meh. It didn’t do anything.

Would I repurchase: No

And the Pantene Pro-v Intense Repair Masque Colour therapy. If you have difficulty with brittle hair or if you colored your hair, this stuff is amazing. I highly recommend. My sister has curly hair and she uses this to come out her hair. It leaves your hair soft and smooth.

Would I repurchase: yes

The next thing is the Clarins Bright Plus Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum. I love this. This made my skin look brighter and it just felt so good on my skin. I mean skincare is supposed to feel good, right? And this just felt so luxurious to put on. This sample lasted me so long so it will definitely be worth looking into. I just pressed it into my skin. And it was amazing.

Would I repurchase: yes!

Next I used up a deodorant solid From Mitchum, it’s the 48 hour powder fresh invisible solid Antiperspirant & Deodarant. And the sticker claim is :ultra powerful sweat + odor control. Well no.. I don’t like this Deodarant. First of all :

– 48hours = no only 6 ish hours

– Powder fresh= no chunky

– Invisible solid= super visible, leaves white cast

– Sweat+ odor control = no

Would i repurchase: no, it also contains aluminum which is really bad for you.

Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Active night Cream, love this stuff as mentioned in my skincare routine. I love this stuff and I use it every day. Love it. Great for acne prone skin, highly recommend!

Would I repurchase: already have

Avroy Shlain Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. This is not gentle, this burns the living day lights out eyes. It also very harsh on my lashes. The problem is that I have sensitive skin and this just hurts. And it’s super drying even on my oily skin.

Would I repurchase: no

My Eucerin DermoPurifyer toner is sadly done. It’s my favorite toner. And I know all toners are the same, but I still prefer this one. It doesn’t dry out my skin and it wipes away the dirt. It’s a great product from a brand that I absolutely love.

Would I repurchase: yes!

Catrice Glam & Doll mascara, this was my favorite (and first) mascara. Hum I really don’t like it. It smudges everywhere and it is not super long lasting. It’s not 100% empty but it’s getting super crunchy and I’ve found my favorite mascara so I’m just getting rid of it.

Would I repurchase: no

Nivea Powerfruit Fresh Shower Gel I didn’t think much of this. It smelled really good but the scent faded which sucks. It doesn’t deep clean, it’s just… Meh. I don’t know, I don’t go out of my way to buy body washes or shower gels. I like to know they are good before I buy them, I guess it doesn’t matter. I’ve heard the ones from lush are bomb (get it, because lush sells bath bombs…. 🙈)

Would I repurchase: not really, but its not terrible.

I have a really fun post coming , but first I had to do the kinda boring one, but I still hope you guys liked it and found this helpful!

Is there something you finished this month that you didn’t like?

HAUL + mini review!

Hey you guys, so these last couple of weeks has been so crazy. I learned how to ice skate( absolutely terrifying!) when I thought I had it some random guy went crashing into me (and not in a romantic way. That only happens in movies… Trust me!). I’m exhausted. But that didn’t stop me to do some shopping. (Will anything ever stop me?). I didn’t do too much damage though. I also saw some things that I wanted to get, but there was just no time. I have enough items to do a haul and a mini review.

SO LET’S GET STARTED:

The first things I got is to Pendant Necklaces from Lovisa. The first one I really love. I have absolutely no idea what stone it is but it’s a semi precious stone. It’s super pretty with a rose goldish chain. I love rose gold! It’s super basic but I like it. It’s super versatile . In some lights it white and in some lights it’s blu, which I thought was pretty cool. The next pendant is actually for my mom. It’s an elegant silver chain with a beautiful silver pendant. It’s simple and I really like it!

The next thing I bought (a while back actually but I still wanted to show you guys!) was a foundation. Now this shade is way to dark for me (as we can see) and I don’t spray tan so I don’t know how I’m going to make this work. But I wanted to do a review on this. This was a more expensive drugstore foundation so I wanted to see if it was any good! It is the best Revlon Airbush Effect in 006 Medium beige

So I bought a lipstick thing that I can’t swatch. Yet again I bout this for my mom, because she was in need of a red lipstick. She loves the formula on these so I just got her this one. It’s really pretty though. I’ve swatched it in the store. It’s the Revlon Lacquer Balm Stain Red. It smells kinda minty and has a plumping effect. Honestly I don’t need anymore plumping. I actually feel like my lips are too big for my face, but I know. Lot of people love plumping product.

So I really enjoy the Essence Longlasting Lipsticks, so I thought I would get another shade. Let’s just say this shade is also too dark. It kinda washes me out, but I can always mix it with other shades! 06 don’t stop the nude! I like the shade I just think that it doesn’t really fit my skin, but it is a very vampy shade and I kinda like it!

The next thing was an impulse buy. I love lipsticks and this is a brand that I’ve never heard about. It’s a dark burgundy lipstick from the brand Design. Uhm the shades name is Dark Chocolate. It’s not brown at all. It’s actually super beautiful. But let’s be honest, it slips out of my lipline like crazy. And it feels greasy so I don’t think I will be using that one… Pretty Colour though!

These were interesting. My grandmother loves these lipsticks got Years and it’s the only brand of lipstick she uses (she isn’t fussy at all about makeup). So I decided to try two of these Camilla lipsticks. These are from the dollar store which I don’t mind. If it works, it works, doesn’t matter where it came from. So I decided to get this iridescent blue shade and this iridescent green shade. I’m thinking of trying a fe lipsticks from the dollar store and doing a whole showdown type of post!

Then because I absolutely adore the Essence lipliners, I thought I should try the retractable one the Essence Longlasting lipliners. This one is in 02 Sweetheart. I don’t know why I keep thinking I’m gonna wear hot pinks because it’s just not my style. I love a nude lip and this is far from it. It’s creamy and feels amazing, but I keep on buying colours I would never wear. I would highly recommend these though, they are amazing! I also tried it with a gloss. Really pretty, but way to pink!

I randomly bought the Nivea Men Shaving balm. I really want to test it as a primer and do a post about it because everybody and their mother has tried this except me. So I’m really excited. It’s smells really good though. Kinda like a sexy man.

Nyx is a brand that’s kinda drugstore and kinda not. I don’t know, but I really love nyx. There stuff is great quality and everybody has raved about their Eyeshadows. Yet again, I bought a blue eyeshadow, because I always wear blue eyeshadow ( sarcasm, I never wear blue eyeshadow and now I own two… I don’t even know how t happened…), but anyway. It feels amazing. I also kinda wanna do a first impression / review on it. I’m still contemplating . But anyway the shade name is Maui. It’s super pretty! I also have this idea that really want to compare all my single Eyeshadows for a post. I just think that that will be pretty informative.

I hope you guys enjoyed!

And I hope this was helpful!
What is your favorite drugstore Eyeshadows? I would love to know!

Love Chelsea Xx

What is in my Makeup Travel Bag!

Hey you guys, I know I haven’t been posting lately, but things have been ultra hectic. I’ve been sick, wrote 2 important tests and did 2 projects. So I’m super super sorry. But I have made a schedule so that my posts are as constant as possible. Uhm update: I’m still sick, I have the flu (great, I know), but things are going pretty good. I have a really great first impression post planned, but first I have to show you guys what is in my Travel makeup bag!

LET’S GET STARTED:

1.) So first up is face makeup. (I haven’t found a primer that I love so I’m still on the hunt for a good one!). I want to do a first impression of the Nivea Men Shaving Balm , so let me know if you guys would be interested!  Honestly when I’m traveling I don’t want things to agitate my already sensitive skin, so I always use a bb cream. The L.A Girl pro bb cream is amazing for traveling, because it’s a good amount of coverage and it’s a lightweight product. Plus it’s super affordable and easy to apply.

I use blend my bb cream with a beauty blender, but I could not for the life of me find it!

2.) Next I take my favorite setting powder. It’s the Rimmel stay matte powder in 008Cashmere. This sets your face without looking cakey. I set it with my fave brush the Eco Tools Tapered Blush Brush. If I could recommend one brush t you it would be this one! It’s so multi functional and amazing and cruelty free!

3.) Next for bronzer I use my Essence Shading powder. I know I said I didn’t like it in my Essence :Hits & misses (part 2.) But! I found that I was using it wrong! It’s suck a pretty way to warm up the skin. And the highlighter is great too! I really like it.And for $3,49 I cannot complain.

4.) For blush I take a new addition to my collection, the blush in Catalina from Cargo. I did a haul on this and it’s so beautiful and natural. And it’s great for any event! It gives a beautiful flush to the cheeks and it feels like butter!

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

5.) For my eyes I like to keep it simple and just take a palette. Honestly I’ve talked about this palette a lot (I know I know) but it’s great for traveling. I don’t do crazy eye makeup when I travel. ( I’m quiet content with ‘roughing it’ for a few days). And a one shadow look from this Essence all about the bronze palette, does just that. It’s simple, and pretty! With my eyeshadow I take 2 brushes. An Essence Blending brush and an Eco Tools Full Eyeshadow brush.

(I have not yet mastered the fine art of eyeliner and always end up picking myself in the eyes or getting it everywhere, so I don’t take it with.)

6.) My favorite part, Mascara! And I use this Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara everyday of my life. It’s my holy grail mascara. If I’m traveling I don’t want to worry about smearing and all that jazz and I trust this mascara 100%. I feel like I should just do a review on it so that you guys can see why I am obsessed with it! But I feel like I should brance out a bit more, but I love it so much! (#torn!)

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

7.) For lips I like a bigger variety ( and by bigger variety I don’t mean shades, because let’s face it, 98% of the time I’m wearing a brownish nude!). I take my Essence lipliner (duh), in 11 in the nude. I like to fill my lips in with this and put my Woolworths pout lipgloss over it. It honestly is (Was) just a clear lipgloss, but it’s really good, if you have a Woolworths in your area, check it out! I know Australia has Woolowrths. But it smells like vanilla and it’s not super sticky and it’s great! ( so easy and so pretty). Then I take my Essence Longlasting lipstick in 07 natural beauty. Then I take my Maybelline ColourSensational lipstick in 630 Velvet beige. My go to lipstick ! Review here!

Then if I want a matte lip, I take my much loved Wet’n wild mega last lipstick in Bare it all. I raved about these lipstick is a review and I take this lipstick everywhere!

U8.) Then my favorite product. My Labello lip balm in peach shine. Not only does it smell yummy, it gives your lips a shinny and kissable look. Which is so easy. I wear this everyday for a bit of a sheen. I highly recommend. (This doesn’t really moisturize as much as I would like, but it’s beautiful, so I just thought I’d let you guys know!)

9.) This is a crucial product. My Vaseline Blueseal pure petroleum jelly. Not only do I moisturize my lips at night with this, I also take of my mascara with this.
(Quick beauty hack)

** tip. Take a decent amount of this and warm it up between your fingers. Start rubbing this over your eye makeup to take most of it off. And then wipe excess Vaseline off with cotton round. (This doesn’t take the place of eye makeup remover, but it’s so much easier than rubbing your eyes with makeup wipes! I use this cause my eyes are to sensitive for makeup wipes! Works like a charm!

I know I don’t go all full glam when I pack my makeup bag , because I know I can improvise when necessary. (Blog post on that coming soon!) . But these are usually the things I take with and it always works for me! I know some people like having a bigger variety of products than me, but these are my bare necessities . (Jungle book refrence!)

Ps! The bag is from Clinuque ! Got it as a point perk! Super cute and fun colours.
I hope you guys found this helpful!

And I hope you guys enjoyed!

I would love to know what is your go to travel items!

Maybelline ColourSensational Review!

Hey you guys!!
So today I’m going to do another review post! Yes I really enjoy doing these. And because there is such a variety of products at stores, it’s more helpful (in my opinion) to know exactly what the pros and cons are of certain products! So today it will be the Maybelline ColourSensational lipstick that has been mentioned on my blog in my Things that I’m obsessed with post. I want to do a full review on this lipstick. And I’m really excited to evaluate every single aspect of this particular lipstick!

SO LET’S GET STARTED:
Description: Velvet Beige Is a brown pinky nude Colour that is perfect for every day wear. It’s a warm nude with mauve undertones. I have no idea how to explain this Colour.
Price: $7,8 – $8

Packaging: depending on what your preferences are for lipstick packaging , you might feel differently about this packaging ( I wonder if that sentence made any sense). I like this packaging, it’s very plain and basic, but still manages to feel elegant. It has a plastic brown lid. It’s see through, so if your lipstick is dirty, you will see it. I like the fact that it’s square shape, because it’s great for storage purposes. Although I don’t think that it will fit in all the lipstick holders. If the silver part of the lipstick gets damaged, the paint layer chips off, then the black shows through. I don’t mind it but it could be a set back. I love that the number and shade is on the bottom as well as an idea of what the shade looks like!
Application: it’s super easy. It glides over my lips effortlessly and doesn’t tug at all. It’s an easy lipstick to take on the go, and you don’t have to worry about a crazy weird tip, because it’s user friendly.
Shade range: loads of beautiful colours. I love the selection of colours. Velvet beige I can’t find anywhere. I have no idea if they discontinued it or what. But it’s absolutely beautiful. The other shades are amazing as well. A huge variety!

Comfort/ finish: this is not matte. Remember those days where lipstick was just lipstick. You put it on its, not matte or mega Longlasting. It’s just a good basic lipstick. I love that about them. It’s a great basic lipstick with beautiful colours without being too complicated. It’s a satin finish. So comfortable!
Pigmentation: this is a build able lipstick. I can sheer this out on my lips and it will be a Pinky your lips but better shade with brown undertones. If you build it up it’s a super dark nude ( for my skintone). It’s so pretty. Not smearproof!

Overall:

I love this Colour, I love the simplicity of this lipstick. It’s just a good lipstick. I really love the application. One of my top 3 lipsticks! If you are sensitive to smells, this might be something to consider. It has a plastic vanilla smell. If you breath you inhale the plastic, vanilla scent. Which made me nauseous at the start. But it’s not so bad now. I’m sure if your not sensitive to smells, it won’t bother you. But overall, an amazing lipstick. You do need to reapply half way through the day, but I don’t mind at all. Applying lipstick is one of my favorite things to do. I will definitely buy more shades!
Do you need this in your life

Yes! If you don’t mind a lipstick that you need to reapply throughout the a beautiful lipstick, but if you need something that needs to stay all day and not move, this might not be the one for you.

I hope you guys enjoyed!

My top 10 fave beauty gurus!

Hey you guys!
I have a slight YouTube addiction, which is not healthy. But I learn a lot of things, makeup wise. I love so many beauty YouTubers , but I decided to share my top 10 with you guys. I’m going to share the YouTubers that taught me things and that I absolutely love watching and also sharing what I love about them. And I’ll also be sharing my Top 3! I’m so excited!

If I don’t mention a beauty YouTuber that you like it’s not because I don’t like them, it’s most probably that I haven’t seen any of their videos! My main goal is to have an YouTube channel before the end of the year!

LET’S GET STARTED:

JEFFREE STAR:

I love him, he gives me life. I didn’t really watch him that much until recently. His looks were always really over the top and bold. And I’m more a natural type a girl. But! He is actually a genius. I have been drooling about his Velour Liquid Lipsticks since I saw Androgyny. He taught me a lot and I just feel so powerful watching him. I feel like I can do anything makeup wise because he doesn’t follow any rules and he just makes everything beautiful and acceptable.

TATI:

I love her because she is very honest with her opinion. I started watching her a year or so ago and she taught me a lot. If I want an expensive product I watch a review on it by her. She is very informative and I really like her. Her OMG’s and WTF’s are my favorites! If you want to see a really expensive product in action, she is the way to go!

LAURALEE

She is amazing. The looks that she does is so wearable. I also love her beauty hack videos. I just love her accent as well its super cute. She is so honest and there’s just something about her that I really like. She is super quirky and super interesting. She caters for everyone and I love that about her.

CARLI BYBLE

I don’t watch her a lot , but when I do I just spend some time on her channel. She is so helpful and explains everything so well. I love her style and her accent is also so adorable. I just love how calm she is, so if the over energetic YouTubers makes you tired, she is definitely a good option to watch.

MANNY MUA

He is so … Up front and I love that about him. He doesn’t let things get in his way. If he wants to wear a lot of highlighter he will. I love his one brand tutorials. My favorite video of his is the What’s in my bag tag. I’ve never laughed so much in my life. He is so honest and he is just amazing.

CASEY HOLMES

Her recommendations are amazing. She has oily skin and everything she has recommended to me has worked. I love that if I’m wondering about a product I can just watch a review and it will be the most accurate review (for my skin personally). She does a mix of high end and drugstore which I find a lot of YouTubers don’t. She is definitely in my top 5.

JACLYN HILL

Oh my goodness. Where to begin. If You haven’t heard about her… She is just amazing. Her videos inspire me to do things that I wouldn’t normally do. She is fun and quirky and so honest. Her honesty is my favorite thing about her. Her looks are also wearable and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is also in my top 5 , for sure!
MY TOP 3:

3.) RACHHLOVES

The most bubbly , most energetic, most real YouTuber. She is so honest and funny. She does reviews and they are my favorite. If companies send her products and she doesn’t like them, she will say so. She is beautiful and her Buy or Bye’s and Pinterest Dupe Tests are my favorite. She is bright and puts me in a great mood.

2.) EMILYNOEL83

The most humble and honest person (in my opinion) in the YouTube community. She is definitely so underrated and absolutely beautiful. Her reviews are amazing, her challenges are amazing and everything she does is just awesome. Her little girl is also so cute. I can close my eyes and click on any video and I know that I will love it!

1.) KATHLEENLIGHTS

Yes, I love her so much. She is my type of YouTuber, she does simple tutorials using literally 2 eyeshadows and she does bold tutorials and everything you could want. She is a 23 (or 24 I’m not sure) year old Cuban girl that is amazing. She does reviews and she’s so funny. I’m so obsessed with her. She is amazing and my favorite YouTuber of all Time.
I hope you guys enjoyed!

Cargo Haul + Review

Hey you guys !I know I’m on a no-buy as I mentioned on my Project pan 10 intro ,but!i found a high end( ish) brand on a super sale! I’ve never seen a sale this big. I saved more money than I spend . And I wanted to do a haul / first impressions / review on a brand called Cargo. I’m gonna do a review as I would on other products. I’m so excited!

LET’S GET STARTED:

The first product I bought was the Essential lip gloss. The Colour is Madrid. It’s a super shiny, sheer red lipgloss with a lot of pink flecks in. Oh my goodness. This Colour is beautiful! You can build it up, so that its a deep reddish Colour or you can sheer it out and achieve a bright pinky Colour.

Description:

– Super high shine lip gloss delivers intense, lasting colors! Creamy , moisturizing formula glides over lips, never feels sticky.

Price: $16

How much I paid for it: $1,40

Packaging + applicator: pretty basic , sleek packaging, I like that the name is on the bottom. It has the logo on the tube which looks elegant. I like the black top. The applicator is really easy to use, it is a simple paddle doe foot applicator.
Shade range: pretty big. I like the fact. That not all of the shades have shimmer in them. And I like the colors of all of them. It’s super pretty. ( I really want to try the nude shades!)

Comfort/ finish + pigment: I find this super comfortable. It isn’t sticky at all. I mean I can still feel it but honestly it’s so comfortable. It’s a super shiny and glossy finish. The pigment can vary depending if you build up the Colour. Super pigmented and pretty.

Application: super easy. I didn’t struggle at all. Building the product was also super easy.

Overall:

B+ (it’s beautiful, but it does ball up a little bit.)

I love this gloss. It’s beautiful and everything a gloss should be. Would I pay $16 for it. Honestly no.. Because you only get 2,5 ml/0,08 oz. after wearing it a few hours it started to ball up on my lips. I don’t have an issue with that. It’s super long wearing . If you can find this on sale. I would highly recommend. If you are a lipgloss lover, maybe this would be worth the price. But otherwise I don’t think it’s worth the price. I’m going to buy most of the shades , because it is beautiful and I love the formula . But I wouldn’t pay $16 for it.

Moving on to blush.

I have the shades Catalina and Amalfi. Catalina is available on the Cargo website but for some reason I can’t find Amalfi. Anyways. I’m not a blush person to be honest, but these blushes are an absolute dream.

Description : silky smooth cheek powder creates a naturally flushed look. Powder glides over skin for smooth and natural finish.

Catalina : cotton candy pink. I love this blush . It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s a natural flush of Colour and great for everyday wear. I feel that it will fit any skin tone. The darkest of skin tones and the fairest. It’s pigmented enough to do that.
Amalfi: it’s a beautiful deep pink Colour with shimmer. It’s beautiful. It’s so hard to describe but trust me, it’s beautiful. I’d recommend it to medium to deep skin tones. It’s a great fall shade. If you can find it. It doesn’t show on the website.

Price: $26

How much I paid for it: $2,5
Packaging+ application : I love the packaging. I LOVE the packaging. It looks like a lip balm tin. It’s so fancy. I love the fact that it’s not plastic. It looks so elegant and fancy. If you don’t like bulky things, you might not like this, but if you don’t mind the bully packaging it’s beautiful. I personally don’t find it difficult to store this, but it could become a hassle. All in all I love the packaging. It’s so unique. I use my Eco Tools tapered blush brush (that I always rave about) to lights sweep product onto my cheeks. And sheer it out as much as I want (again I’m not a blush person) and it’s absolutely beautiful.
Shade range: huge shade range, there is a bright neon pink one, and a bright neon orangy one, there is one for everyone’s liking.
Finish/ lasting power: Catalina is a matte finish and Amalfi is a shimmery blush. If you don’t like shimmer I wouldn’t recommend Amalfi. The lasting power is insane. I swatched it the other day on the back of my hand … And it lasted all day. I’ll get back to you guys on the exact amount of hours , but I’m pretty sure it’s about 8 hours.
Overall:

A

These blushes has inspired me. They are beautiful and so easy to use. Super duper soft. They are softer that MAC blushes! That’s crazy. I love these. I highly recommend these. Would I pay $26 … Yes (and that says a lot !), I would buy Catalina. These are super pigmented and i love the fact that it can be as bright or as sheer as you want. It’s also not like when you apply blush there is gonna be a pink stripe. It blends effortlessly . Can you tell that I’m a little obsessed!? I’m going to get more shades and I’m going to put these in an upcoming giveaway!

The part I’m most excited about! Eyeshadow ! I never knew that Cargo made Eyeshadows.. Well nobody really talks much about cargo really. I know they have a palette and that’s pretty much it… Anyways! I bought 3 Eyeshadows!
Description :

Babylon – a cobalt shimmery metallic blue. I don’t know how to explain this. It’s a shiny eyeshadow but it is a really pigmented shimmery blue. It’s absolutely beautiful.

Oz – oh my goodness. If you are into yellow golds, this is it. It’s a shade that I would pack onto my lids. This might be my favorite shade.

Green Bay– the prettiest green shade that I have ever seen in my life. It’s like an pigmented iridescent green shade( does that. Make sense?) . This is literally, if you took an appletini and turned it into a eyeshadow. It’s so beautiful. I’m obsessed. I don’t know when or where I would wear this shade. But! I’m super excited!

Price : $16 each

How much I paid for it: $1,5 each
Packaging + application: I love the packaging. I mean it looks lip a lip balm tin, but when you open it it’s like BOOM eyeshadow. It’s so pretty the packaging is so fancy. The name is on the bottom. Which could be a good or bad thing. You can’t see the Colour through the packaging. ( yet again, it could be good or bad.). I don’t mind it though. But if you have a lot of these Eyeshadows it could become a problem. But I enjoy opening them up . It brings me joy. I apply these with my Eco Tools Full eyeshadow brush. I just pack the shadow on my lids.
Shade range: beautiful shade range, with matte to metallic to shimmer. They have a lot of bold and bright colors , and pretty neutral everyday shades.
Finish/ lasting powder:

Babylon is described as a cobalt blue shimmer and it lasts a pretty long time. This one lasts the longest of them all.

Oz is described as a warm golden yellow shimmer. This one lasts a pretty long time as well.

Green Bay is a iridescent green. Because this is an iridescent shade this doesn’t last as long, but this is still so pretty. Definitely worth it though.
Overall:

A

I would recommend using MAC fix + to get the full potential , but honestly these are so pigmented and beautiful and I want them all. These are better than MAC shadows. Pigmentation wise. These build so well. I don’t know why these aren’t popular. These are amazing. I’m going to be looking for them everywhere.
So as I told you guys that these were on sale so I’m going to do a small calculation for you, so that you guys can see what I paid.

Original price : $116

How much I paid: $ 11

How much I saved : $ 105

Success!

I hope you guys enjoyed and found this helpful.

And I hope you guys go check out Cargo (#notsponsered).

July Favorites!

Hey you guys!
I’m gonna be super cliche and say that I can’t believe that July is over. Are you kidding me?! It’s absolutely crazy and I’m in denial. So it’s the end of the month and that means favorites. I’m on a no buy. (although I’m gonna do a haul soon! My drugstore is having a huge sale!) And that means that in July I had to be super creative with my favorites, but I managed to accumulate some! Anyway enough babbling! I just wanted you guys to know that I don’t like the purple background, it is definitely not the one I’m going to use. I just realized, my blog is one month old! How exciting! Anyways!

LET’S GET STARTED:
My first favorite of this month is a nail polish! I’m not a red nail polish person but… This Sorbet Nail Polish in Prima Donna is the perfect red for my toe nails. It has a pinky undertone and it’s so beautiful. It lasts forever and it doesn’t t chip. I never wear red on my finger nails, but I go crazy on my toe nails.

The next fave is not a product but a Shade that I created with a lipstick that is in my My Skincare Routine I used my Essence long lasting lipstick in 07 Natural beauty as a base all over my lips and then dab on my Essence Longlasting lipstick in 12 blush my lips. I love the fact that you can control how pink it is. It’s the perfect rosey bright pink. I’m also not one for bright colors but this is so beautiful. If I don’t want a bright pink I just add more of 07 natural beauty. If I want a brighter lip I dab on more 12 blush my lips. Both together is the one on the right!

I don’t like coffee. I prefer tea or hot chocolate. But this adorable Hug in a Mug, it’s so delicious. It is the vanilla cappuccino flavour. I love this, it’s rich and creamy. It’s the perfect drink for winter. I’m definitely going to try other flavours. And the packaging is so cute. I love it! I just put it in my plastic coffee takeaway cup thing and take it to school. What an amazing way to start the day!

A brush that I’ve been loving for packing on shadow like no other is the Eco Tools Full Eye Shadow brush. I find it to be very multi functional. It packs on shadow like a pro, it’s great for highlighting under the brow bone. And I love it in my crease for a very precise application. And it’s soft enough to use to smudge out eyeshadow under your eye. I love the feel of the brush and I’ve washed it about a thousand times and it doesn’t shed. Which is always a good thing.

Next are eyeshadows that shocked me. These are the Essence Single Eyeshadows in 35 Party all night( left) and 09 get ready! (Right). These are crazy pigmented and feel like butter. They blend really well and stay pretty long. For $2 you honestly can’t beat the price! I’m going to purchase a lot more! Party all night is a metallic effect and get ready! is a shimmer effect. Party all night had a weird gold spray over but the colour overall is a beautiful dusty bronze shade. Get ready! is a deep brown with shimmer in. It has a grayish undertone but is beautiful.

The weirdest favorite ever, but this is a razor that I have been obsessed with. It is the Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment Razor (I think that’s what it’s called!). This razor is amazing! It smells like creamy coconutty goodness and it glides over the shaving surface leaving it super smooth. It also moisturizes. You don’t have to struggle with soap or shaving cream. You just need water. I also love the fact that you can buy refills! So random, I know!

My favorite YouTuber of the month is Emilynoel83. She is just a dream to watch and her reviews are amazing. I just love to watch her and she loves what she does. I just love the honesty in her videos and opinions. I would definitely recommend checking her out, she is so underrated. Her videos are informative and I learn a lot. Her recommendations are really good as well. She recommend on one of her videos a palette from beauty treats that I featured on amazing beauty finds. It’s surprisingly good and I love it. Everything she has recommended has been amazing!

I hope you guys are enjoyed!
